- My one complaint is that whenever I try to use a water bath to bake the cheesecake, some water always leaks into the pan, so it's not completely "waterproof.

As it was brand new, i didn't test it first. It oozed a sticky merengue torte all over the oven and was a big mess to clean. After cleaning, I tried the glass bottom with water, and the aluminum bottom with water, and they both leaked badly. I carefully checked to make sure I had the pans sealed correctly. This is definitely a very bad default with this pan. I do not advise buying it. I bought this pan after hosting a pamper chef party. I used this pan once and it leaked horribly. I talked to me consultant and she said she had the same one and hers never leaked, and that mine may have had some sort of defect. I called PC and they happily replaced mine. Honestly, they have amazing customer service. Just got the new one in the mail today and it still leaks. I'm not a fantastic professional cook or baker, by any means. I like to try though!
